I both agree and disagree with David Grossman. What I agree is most games are now created to teach kids to kill. Some games that teach kids to kill, for example Counter Strike, Call of Duty made young kids played it became desensitizing. There are also some parts that I don't agree. Most game are killing, but many of them does not. Those game have colorful, cute graphics, funny music like Angry Bird. There is also a part that tickles my mind. The part that David Grossman said that " We're not just teaching kids to kill. We're teaching them to like it." I don't think video games and T.V are trying to make kids like killing, it's just that they can't control themselves over games interest.
Overall, I think David Grossman is almost right about his opinion.
I agree about your answer. Most of his opinnions are right except when he said " The World is a Dark and Dangerous place." I don't agree with that.
ReplyDeleteI think you made your point so i agree your own opinion because my opinion is similar too :D.
ReplyDeleteI do not agree with the part when he said " We're not just teaching kids to kill. We're teaching them to like it." too. He is using the propaganda technique: framing.
ReplyDeletedude!!! ALL video games' purposes are not TEACHING KIDS TO KILL, they have entertaining purposes only!!!! So i disagree with what you said, "What I agree is most games are now created to teach kids to kill."
